you navigate your new role and to ensure a smooth onboarding and orientation process.

Title 5 is the Education Title of the California Code of Regulations. A regulation
is a rule adopted by a state regulatory agency to implement, interpret, or make specific
the law enforced or administered by it or to govern its procedures. Title 5 regulations
have the force of law. Regulations for community colleges are found in Division 6
beginning with #50001. It is available online HERE.
Permanent employees (Classified, Managment, and Faculty) - Last working day of each
month.
Adjunct & Temporary employees - 15th of each month.
Student employees - 15th of each month.
Direct Deposit
In order to sign up for direct deposit, you will need to fill out the KernCCD direct
deposit form and submit a voided check along with the form. If you do not have checks
for the account you are directing your payments to be deposited, you can provide documentation
from the banking institution with the routing number and account number printed on
the document.
Both the form and the voided check, or documentation, need to be submitted to the
HR office 15 days prior to the pay date. Once the direct deposit is set up, the first
payment will be posted to your account.

Parking is located behind the District Office, on 21st and L Street. Students and
staff require parking permits. These are obtained via MyCampusPermit. Please note, you will use your school credentials to login and purchase your permit.
