Information for students and faculty: This program, hosted by the Kern Community College District, engages students and faculty at the 23 colleges of the South Central Coast Region and Central Valley Mother Lode Region Consortia. Students in the disciplines of Engineering, Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, HVAC, Architecture, Construction, Business Administration, and other related fields will benefit from this paid project-based learning experience by gaining skills to conduct energy efficiency assessments. Students will also gain exposure to career pathways in renewable energy, manufacturing, and engineering.
Information for Manufacturers: The Central California Industrial Training and Assessment Center (ITAC) helps small and medium sized US manufacturers save energy, improve productivity, reduce waste, and qualify for subsidies by providing no-cost technical assessments conducted by a team of trained students and faculty.
