Starting this registration period (beginning March 26th), we will be making changes to our Common Course Numbering system (CCN) to better align with state law.  This will only affect a few courses at this time, particularly those listed below:

MATH P122 Introduction to Probability and Statistics STAT C1000 Introduction to Statistics
POLS P101 American Government POLS C1000 American Government and Politics

ENGL P101C Argumentative Writing and Critical Thinking ENGL C1001 Critical Thinking and Writing

Keep in mind that these course numbers and even some of the course titles may display differently during the first few days of the changeover.

Here are a few simple steps to follow when searching for the courses above in banner:

  1. Search for courses in banner by COLLEGE first.

  2. Be aware that the courses may be listed as either number or title on the above list.

  3. Be sure you are registering for the PORTERVILLE COLLEGE class option.

  4. Make sure you check that the correct class is also listed in your Ed Plan.

Please be sure to thoroughly check course number and title to ensure the course you are selecting is correct before finalizing registration.
