PC Presents at National Electric Vehicle Consortium 2025 Annual Conference

Dr. Ellen Morris, Jose Daugherty, and PC Career Education Director Nick Griffith represented Porterville and the Kern Community College District (KernCCD) at the National Electric Vehicle Consortium 2025 Annual Conference in Hayward, CA this week.
The group delivered a compelling presentation showcasing the innovative work happening at Porterville College in partnership with vehicle electrification pioneer Zero Nox. The team also connected with industry experts and higher education leaders, including California Community Colleges Chancellor Dr. Sonya Christian and Vice Chancellor of Workforce and Economic Development, Anthony Cordova.

The conference provided valuable insights and new ideas to further enhance KernCCD's programs and support student and workforce success in the burgeoning green energy sector.
