A look at the new traffic patterns coming to the PC Campus

As of this writing, completion of the E. College Avenue road construction has been delayed until Mid-March.

We will keep you posted on any developments as they happen and provide a firm date for the parking lots and new roads to open when we have that information.

In the meantime, below (and in the map above) is another look at what travel to and from campus will look like after the project is finished. Please begin to familiarize yourself with these new traffic patterns so we can make the transition as smooth as possible once the new roads open to travel.

New traffic patterns coming to the PC Campus (expected in Mid-March)

Once the E. College Avenue road construction has been completed, traffic patterns will permanently change. E. College Ave. will no longer be a through street between S. Main and S. Plano. Instead, use the new Triunfo Ave. (east/west) and S. College Ave. (north/south) roads to navigate the area. All PC parking lots will reopen for permitted parking.

Key Changes:

  • Triunfo Ave: New east/west road connecting S. Main and S. Plano. Includes a traffic circle connecting to N. College Ave.
  • S. College Ave: New north/south road connecting Triunfo and E. College. Right turns only onto E. College towards S. Plano.
  • E. College Ave: Permanently closed to through traffic between S. Main and S. Plano.

PC Access:

  • Administration, Athletics, and Jamison Stadium parking: Access ONLY from S. Main on E. College. No direct exit to S. Plano on E. College.
  • Rear campus parking access from S. Plano remains unchanged.

Vandalia/Pioneer Access:

  • Drop-off/Pick-up locations unchanged.
  • From S. Main: Take Triunfo to S. College to E. College.
  • E. College access from S. Main is closed.
  • From S. Plano: Access remains on E. College, but exiting requires using the new roads.

Obey posted signs and the 15 mph speed limit in PC lots. Be mindful of pedestrians and other drivers.
