PC Career Education Department Presents at Innovators by Design

The Porterville College Career Education Department made a strong impression at the Innovators by Design event on October 9th, organized by the Workforce Investment Board of Tulare County. The event provides a platform for workforce, education, and intermediary organizations to collaborate on strategies for maximizing career pathway initiatives and workforce development programming.

 

Representing Porterville College, Director of Career Education Nick Griffith and Dean of Instruction Osvaldo Del Valle delivered a presentation titled "Maximizing Micro-Credentialing for Students and Employees." Their insightful presentation highlighted the potential of micro-credentialing to enhance student success and employee development.

 

Innovators by Design offers a valuable opportunity for attendees to connect with regional partners, share ideas, and explore new approaches to workforce development. This annual event is a cornerstone for fostering collaboration and innovation within the Tulare County community.
