Renegade Nexus Hosts First Farmer's Market of 2024

On January 16, 2024, Bakersfield College hosted our first Renegade Nexus Farmer’s Market of the semester. This month’s market offered bananas, oranges, cabbage, red chard, chicken, and more. All items handed out were provided for free in partnership with the Community Action Partnership of Kern (CAPK). Over 430 people visited the market which provided food for over 1,743 people in Kern County when accounting for household size. Our next market will take place on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 10:00AM on the CSS Lawn.
