BC Hosts Disabled Student Programs and Services Resource Fair
The Disabled Student Programs & Services (DSPS) at BC hosted a resource fair to help connect students to services that can help support their mental and physical health. There were several local vendors available to answer questions and share information about their resources and services.
Several BC Departments were on hand as well, eager to inform students about the services available to them while enrolled at BC; including Veteran’s Services, Student Employment, Student Health & Wellness, and DSPS. The event also featured live music and food vendors, including Hawaiian shaved ice, funnel cakes, and kettle corn.
The DSPS’ mission is to assist the college in providing equal access to educational opportunities for students with a variety of disabilities. This event raises awareness of the community resources that promote equity and equal participation for such students.
