BC Foundation Sponsors Via Arte Festival

The Bakersfield College Foundation was proud to sponsor this year’s Via Arte festival, which allowed BC art students to showcase their exceptional talents. The students created a portion of Dante and Virgil, an 1850 oil-on-canvas painting by the French academic painter William-Adolphe Bouguereau. The original painting is currently housed in the Musée d'Orsay in Paris, France. Congratulations to BC students Kaylee Deberti, Ryan Stone, Sophia Montemayor, Kira Phem, and Teagan Faulkenburg for winning the “Best Technical Skill” award!
